Hello everyone, I'm Wilson. I started to learn English from June the 1st this year, a total of 129 days by October 7th. I am a NL level student, my listening, speaking, reading and writing have been significantly improved. Then I want to share my own experience, in fact, this is the method I used to manage personal career. I found that it can also be used in learning English; today I am willing to share it with you. The first thing I did was to ask myself why I wanted to learn English ? If you don't know where you are and how you know where you want to go?
First step: assessment.
You have to know your own situation, and what level you are in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Which of these four aspects are your strengths? Which one is weak? How much time can I spend in these four aspects? And so on, I have a clear understanding of my strengths and weaknesses, at the same time; I have confidence and tools to help me learn English. So you have to be clear about your current status
Second step: strategy.
Only strategy without tactics is certainly not good. The so-called strategy is the goal, and the tactic is the ways to complete the target. First, Every Monday to Friday I took classes at least 3 times; second, studied 5 a phonetic transcription, memory five words three meanings and made a simple sentence every day. When I was in class, we should listen carefully, and also actively participate in the interaction of teachers.
Third step: implement.
The learning plan and a good method, if you do not take the initiative to implement, is a mere scrap of paper. From 9:45am to 9:00pm every day, I did online learning, and then review the contents before the lecture, and finally to keep it easy to master.
Final step: adjust.
You and I both know sometimes we could have poor state in classes or being lazy. Then you need to constantly change your plan to keep up with your path.
